Thank Tonto It's Friday 2006-2008: THE END COMPLETE!

Thank Tonto It's Friday was launched September 1st 2006, and has made people feel somewhat cautious and nauseous every Friday between 2pm and 4pm. In the past seventeen months I have been doing my best to make people smile with a selection of bizarre comedic treats and a plethora of wonderful special guests from my movie critic extrodinaire Jack Starr, through to Youtube sensations Brookers and The Receptionist, the fine folk at Wrestlecrap and RBR Weekly Wrestling Talk , Chiptune artist Sabrepulse, local musicians Rich Walker and Rose Marie, comedic superstars Cayenne Chris Conroy and Bryan Waterman and a whole lot more.

It's been an amazing ride...but sadly, every journey has to end.

There's a lot of work coming my way in the near future from all sides, a lot of work that may take up a lot of my time.

Therefore, it's with a heavy heart that I announce that this Friday will be the LAST Thank Tonto It's Friday EVER!

I don't want to leave it on the sideboard to gather the proverbial dust, I want to draw a line under it and remember it as my finest and most creatively enriching radio achievement to date.
