I hate it when a death comes straight out of nowhere...and that happened today! Tony Hart very suddenly passed away this morning...the man who brought us art into our mornings as children, introduced us to Morph and that marvelous "vision on" pingy song we all recognise when we hear it, is no longer with us.I must confess, Tony wasn't exactly in the front of my mind in recent years, but it still made me sad to hear about him passing on. But when you think about it, he is one of those people who - for as long as you can remember - has always seemed to be a kindly old man, and living up to 83 it's fair to say he had a great innings.
Sadly, no funny bit in my brain at the moment...just wanted to commemorate the day with a comment. May the art corner forever remain, I say!
