I've decided I'm very unlucky.
It started about a week ago when Clive popped to the barn and never came back. Farmer Giles assured us he had won a holiday and would be back before Christmas Eve. So we were all quite excited about seeing Clive before Christmas and hearing about his trip.
Imagine our surprise when Neil, Malcolm and Fat Keith all won the same competition as well (can't image Keith getting on a plane, the plump bugger!)...a holiday before Christmas! We all smiled, thinking luck was in our favour and - to be fair - they deserved a holiday.
But now it's getting rather bizarre because it seems like everybody but me and Frail Old Jimmy have won this holiday package. Just as well I haven't won it, I mean I'm not feeling too great and been off my food lately. But Frail Old Jimmy bless him, he could have done with a break. Thing is...it's Christmas Eve coming up and we've heard nothing from them. Not even a postcard!
